Alexia walked threw the crowd, well most of then moved out of her way. They knew who she was and who her king was. Her two guards walked behind her close enough to keep an eye on her. Alexia brushed back some of her blond hair and looked at the many stores. Still nothing really caught her eye.

It was a nice night. The moon was up, the stars were out and the breeze blew nice and cool right through the open garage bay door. It danced in the white hair of what mortals assumed was a relatively normal teenager who sat by the opening, watching people walk past as they milled about in the shopping district. A keener eye could reveal the lycan for what he was, as most of the scars that adorned his face were obviously made by some wild animal or another. A keener nose could smell the bestial musk that labeled him the wolfman, but, lucky for him, all his co-worker and everyone that passed by on the street were mortals and had no such eyes or noses. Lucky for him, they had no idea...
Sighing drowsily, he leaned back against the orange and white civic he'd just finished working on, bending his legs up and laying his arms over his knees lazily. It'd been a long day and the lycan just wanted to go home. But, it was his turn to close up so he couldn't go home until everyone else did and, at the moment, they were all drunk and playing cards in the back room. He could hear their shouts and curses as they won or lost, smelt the alcohol on their breath and ever the puke they probably left all over the floor...
Sighing again, he rubbed at a scarred temple with two fingers. Morons... every last one of them...

My husband and you would get along.
Alexia had heard the lycan boy as she walked by. She stopped and looked down at him. Her eyes seemed so cold and she looked she was always judging people. She smiled down at the lycan but even her smile was cold.
Tell me lycan whats your name?

He didn't even bother to look up at the curious woman, his gaze too busy glaring at the floor as his fingers prodded the sides of his forehead. Not that he was trying to be rude or anything, the Japanese blood that ran through his veins usually didn't allow it. No, he was just tired... and lazy...
He hated being stuck at this garage, doing nothing, longer than he should. It was particularly irritating that those stupid mortals and their "games" were the only things holding him up. But, if he left while they were still there, they'd get pissed and run a muck through his trailer park at three in the morning and the neighbors would blame him for it. Funny how the things other people do seem to always be his fault...
"Ezhno... Why do you want to know?"
Had he been in his right mind, the lycan would've been a little testy about her calling him by species in public. Hunters walked the streets at this time and if a butt-load came after him later, he'd be pretty ticked off. However, he was just too tired and instead let his shoulders sag a bit as he leaned the back of his head against the side of the civic...

Alexia stood there in shock. She could not believe that he did not know who she was. The shock she had turned to anger but Alexia quickly took control of her feelings. She thought for a second and then knew where she heard that name before.
Mo reason just wanted to know it. So your the one Isaac is always talking about. Will you be joining us?

He was surprised that she mentioned Isaac, this new developement only increasing his suspcion of the woman. However, at the same time, the lycan was flattered his would-be friend would talk about him to... whoever this chic was. Wife maybe? It just seemed sort of odd to the werewolf, the concept of Isaac being married. When they'd met, he'd been flirting with Autumn. In fact, the two had left the werewolf alone on the outskirts of town... by himself... uncaring...
Unable to keep the angst ridden thoughts from flooding his mind, he simply lowered his crimson gaze, trying to put on a grin so the woman would not get worried. He wasn't worth it anyway...
"So he's been talkin' about me, huh? I guess that's a good thing... But no. I cannot join you in your pointless scheme for global domination..."
He paused, glaring off toward the back room where another series of excited shouts and cheers signaled the end of another game...
"... as much as I'd actually like to..."

Alexia looked over at where the noise came from. She could see why Isaac liked him so much there was so something about him maybe a dark side. She wondered if he ever let it come threw. One of guards got her a sit and she sat down crossing her legs.
You hate them don't you? So why do you stay with them? You can always sat at our castle.

The lycan fired a heart-felt grin in her direction, a sly one fit for the face of a kitsune. She was a rather astute one, much to his amazment...
"I need the money..."
Letting his half-blinded gaze settle on the Civic against which he was leaning again, he rapped his scarred nuckles against the door...
"... and I have a thing for cars."
Letting the sly clever almost happiness that had filled the grin fall from his face, the lycan settled back into brooding mode, his arms draped over his knees and his gaze glaring upon the floor.
"If I can tolerate these bastards long enough, and don't spend as much as I tend to, I'll eventually have enough to upgrade my car fully and switch my attention to racing rather than fixing..."
He pointed a finger casually out the open bay door. The metallic blue Impreza sat in the small area of dirt between the garage wall and the side walk, a crude sign propped up against the side, covering up the light green 'glow-in-the-dark' tribals painted down the sides. However, the slightly glowing wolf skull painted on the hood stared hauntingly back at them, looking menacing enough to make Ezhno grin yet again...

Alexia put her hand to her mouth as she laughed. It had been so long since she had worried about money. She looked at the car and found it cute. She really knew nothing about cars.
If you join us you would never have to worry about money again. What do you think about that?

The lycan was curious as to why the woman was laughing but only in that childish "wpndering about everything" sort of way. He found himself less and less suspicious of her as the conversation continued. That's not to say he began to trust her, oh no. It would be long before that happened... Well, maybe not a long time but definately not at the moment. He still kept most of his attention on her at all times, waiting for her to try to something, but his expression was one of total relaxation and exhaustion with no sign of any distrust of course...
His grin changed to a chuckling sort of smile as he joined the woman in a cheerful laugh of sorts...
"Let me tell you, I'd be overjoyed..."
Turning his gaze thoughtfully toward the closed wooden door behind which the card game carried on loudly, the werewolf's once charming grin dropped slowly from his scarred face...
"...but, no matter what the bribes, no matter what the gain, I simply cannot join you..."
He paused yet again, sighing inwardly and closing his eyes...
"... nor can I allow you to succeed..."

Alexia's anger rose quickly too quickly for her to control herself.
You can't beat Isaac. He will kill you!
There was a some what shocked look on her face. Alexia took a deep breath and brought herself back to normal. She smiled.
Sorry about that. Tell me do you think you can win?

The werewolf fired a glare at her before she could even start her outburst. Unknown to the members of most other species, Garou like him pick up on a person's energy before anything else and often react instinctively to it. Almost beofre he finished his statement, her energy changed from cool, calm and assertive (the kind of energy his kind responded best to) to rather apalled and ticked off. Instinctively, he reacted almost exactly the same, half baring his teeth in a sneer for a moment before he realized what he was doing and exchanged it for a grin...
"No, I don't think I will win but if I don't try, the Moon Council will have my hide."
He paused, sitting back again and scratching at his side lazily...
"I might as well let Isaac kill me instead. At least then, the death will be quick..."
